About X-Ray (Fluoroscopy) Services

ImageCare provides the following services in digital x-ray and fluorography. These exams are completed by specially trained radiologists.

  • Barium Swallows or Esophograms
  • Hysterosalpingograms

  • Pain Management of large joints including:
    • hips
    • shoulders
    • knees
  • Pain Management of medium joints including:

  • Facet injections into the spine

ImageCare offers full digital technology. By offering this service we have fewer repeats which means less radiation and sharper image quality allowing for a more accurate diagnosis.

Patient Preparation

X-Ray

There is no preparation for digital x-ray. You may have to change into a hospital gown depending on the area being x-rayed; whether or not you have metal or plastic buttons, clips, or zippers on.

Flouroscopy

For fluoroscopy exams including Upper GI’s, Esophograms, and Small Bowel Follow Throughs you are asked to refrain from eating or drinking after midnight.
