Biography

Dr. Sara Raymond completed her fellowship as a clinical instructor in breast imaging at the University of Virginia Health System, Charlottesville, VA, following her residency in diagnostic radiology at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, Phoenix, AZ. She interned in preliminary internal medicine with Banner Good Samaritan Hospital, Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Raymond received her Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles, CA. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Albany Medical College,  Albany, NY.

Dr. Raymond is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. She moved to the Capital Region for medical school, where she met her husband, who is local, and they decided to make this area their home. Dr. Raymond chose her specialty because she loves working on women’s health issues and has always been interested in breast cancer and breast cancer awareness. Dr. Raymond is a mom of two young children, leaving little time for much else!
