Dr. Manek S. Aulakh is a board-certified radiologist specializing in diagnostic radiology and neuroradiology. Dr. Aulakh received his medical degree from Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine in Roanoke, VA. He completed his internal medicine internship also at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. Dr. Aulakh trained as a diagnostic radiology resident at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He furthered his training as a neuroradiology Fellow at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Aulakh began his studies at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, earning his Bachelor of Science in neuroscience. He is interested in stroke imaging, neuro-oncology, and emergency radiology.
Dr. Aulakh is originally from Fairfax, VA. The blend of cutting-edge technology and medical knowledge drew him to radiology. Dr. Aulakh believes treating every patient as if they were your own family member is most important. Outside of medicine, he enjoys tennis, formula one racing, and autotuning.
