Biography

Dr. Kimberly Owens earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Rowan University, School of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her internship at Berkshire Medical Center and her diagnostic radiology residency at Albany Medical Center. She also trained at Duke Medical Center as a musculoskeletal imaging Fellow. Dr. Owens earned her Bachelor of Science in biological sciences from Cornell University, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Dr. Owens is a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society, the American Board of Radiology, and the Radiological Society of North America.

Originally from Chittenango, just outside of Syracuse, NY, Dr. Owens has always wanted to pursue a career in medicine since the young age of five. She found the field of radiology fascinating in the sense you can learn so much about a person and have a significant impact on patient care without having to do anything too invasive. Dr. Owens loves helping people figure out why they are having the symptoms they are having. When caring for patients, Dr. Owens believes looking at the patient as a whole and identifying the cause of the symptoms is most important for quality care.

In her spare time, Dr. Owens enjoys running, skiing, hiking, and soccer.
